    Hello Guy's....

Well I am at it again. I just added this note to the 4th Issue Fractionals. It is the watermarked Fr1267 in Gem. Just two more notes in the 15 cent denomination to go and 1 more Washington 25cent note to completion! The Fr 1271 "Watermarked" variety will be big $$$ if I can find it and will be the pinnacle of the 4th Issue Series.
This denomination has the Bust of Columbia as all 4 of the 15 cent notes of the 4th Issue.
I am excited because I am getting so close to finishing...

Also have two other Obsolete Railroad notes out on Bid....if I get them then..well let's say that I have never seen such artistic engraving before! Hope to show you guy's two more notes by next Friday...

    Good day Daggerjohn...

I feel for your wife getting put on notice on her new job. That blows for sure.
When I said I was trying to catch up with you and Steve....it was a pun for the posting you made "I hate you" :smile...which I got a great kick out of that one.

I hope she recovers very soon and I am sure things will get better. As for the quality of notes, well I tend to go over board but that is how I was taught from some old dealer friends....buy the best you can afford and then go 1 step over that!
As crazy as it sounds, the notes and coins are really a long term investment for my Son. I will never see the gains from them and I accept that.

With things getting tighter and the economy in a tail spin...well I will be cutting back as well. I just have my eye on a few notes that I would like to have....this winter I will be working on my website as a filler to buying notes....lets all hope for better things to happen in 2008!

    God Bless...

no worries mate! I fully expected some friendly backlash with the comment i made :D and i got some :)

My family will make it through the storm, it will just be tough. I have my website to keep me busy, and have a ton of content to scan, post, and do write ups about. So i wont be totaly outside of my hobby!

you MUST share the web addy when your site is up! I know alot of us will love to revisit some of the notes you have posted! Will you be designing the site yourself with a WYSIWYG app like Dreamweaver, or using a site like what De Orc uses?

    Thanks DeOrc...I appreciate the comments.

I just learned that this and a few other notes that I bought all came from the Boyd Ford Collection!
Mr. Ford had accumulated the largest Fractional Currency ccollection known!
The quality of this material is ...well you can see it.

I am just thrilled to own part of this collection. I just wished it was graded!
The information was told to be by the Renound, Mr. Don Kelly

    Regards,

I am not much of an HTML person..never sat down it before..but plan to.

Well, RickieB ... i barely knew how to spell HTML when i started! I just used trail and (alot of) error. I started using plain HTML, but had too many issues with navigation, so swicthed to using mostly PHP with some HTML in the background- and javascript for the fun stuff. It might not be the ebst site on the Net, but i think its turned out OK :)

I will tell you what, as limited as my knowledge is, if you have any questions, im always a PM away :)
