The standard U.S. Mint box of nickels contains only two rolls of coins. One from the Philadelphia Mint and one from the Denver mint. I'm assuming that this auction contains a box with 4 rolls in it that the seller had purchased after the box had been open. The plastic insert in the original box, does contain 4 slots and can hold 4 individual rolls and I think that whoever he had purchased these coins from had added another set of two rolls for storage purposes. Just a guess on my part.

Correction:The trays in these boxes have 5 slots and if you order by phone or mail, you can get 4 rolls shipped in one box instead of two.Maybe he did this but there's no way of telling.

A little push will do the trick with no harm to the rolls or the paper.
