    LOL. Thats exactly what I thought at first glance. Then I saw the rim was good. I am wondering if it cracked on this coin and caused the doubling ?

    Yes. I went for dimes last week and grabbed a few rolls of 5c and 1c. Of course 1 roll was 2010 D Shield cents. I did find a 1983 cent that don't look right that I will ask about later.
