Found this searching halfs today!

    Unfortunately not, it's copper nickel, but still an exciting find for me! I didn't find ANYTHING in my last $1,000, so a major improvement

    That's cool! It's amazing what people will use to complete a roll of coins.

    Nice find clad commemoratives are almost if not as exciting as silver

    I just want to point out, that coin will grade, as good as if you bought it from the Mint. I say that because I was having the hardest time in another thread trying to get that point across relative to these coins found in boxes and bank bags. When these special mint coins are cashed off, they're typically cashed off in bulk at the banks, whereafter they just go through a few additional counting machines before we get them. That's why this one is in such good condition, as are likely the vast majority of these.
