You guys seen one of these before? I think its made of aluminum? Its about the size of a quarter. I find a lot of neat tokens but I like that this one had Lincoln on it and has his birth year and death year. Kinda different. 030.JPG 031.JPG

Yes, very cool laundry token, in that condition not worth much. Look on ebay and I'm sure you'll see some. Still a very nice find!

I like anything with Lincoln on it Jim. The fact that you dug it makes it even more interesting. Great find!

Nice find... but wait, it says "gift token" so isn't wasn't a token that you'd use in a worshing machine, is it? It was probably a promotional token?

It was included in each package of Little Duchess Laundry Blue. The product was manufactured by the Calco Chemical Division of the American Cyanamid Co. They also had a token with George Washington but the obverse(?) was the same as the Lincoln piece. I don't know if they had any other types or not but you'd think they would have.

Thanks for all the info guys. I did find a couple on ebay, $3.00. Still neat I think. Got lots of other tokens but my favorite to find are civil war tokens.
