    I can't believe I found this 1943 s dime in my change today. I'm wondering what it might be worth. It is a S/S rpm Photo_Magnifying 21.12.2023 22_02_43.png Photo_Magnifying 21.12.2023 22_02_58.png Photo_Magnifying 21.12.2023 22_03_57.png

Well, in silver melt value it is worth at least $1.50.
varietyvista.com shows 4 RPMs for that date. See if your coin matches any.

Although your pix are off-focus, your close-up of the mint mark is better. A even better close-up is needed to help with settling the mint mark issue.

From the current close-up it appears the coin is better than just melt condition.
I arbitrarily gave it a grade of AU53, and NumisMedia/FMV lists it at $4.00.

So…at $4 and up for sale, some enterprising collector might offer to buy at $3.
However, If the mint mark is determined a bonafide RPM it would command a higher price at sale, I leave that value in the hands of my esteemed fellow member experts who know better than I…imo…Spark

Finding an 80-year-old coin in the wild is way cool.

You're not gonna get rich off it, but that's a super cool find from circulation.
