Ok, I am full of it. I found it in an old album I forgot I had. I would say this is a solid XF, agree?

lovely coin. question: are cents that are brown like this considered lesser quality or value than red cents? put another way, would a red 1909 S in XF sell for more than a brown 1909 S in XF ?
by the way most of the early cents in my (inherited) collection are brown and I love the color even more than the red ones.

There is really no such thing as a Red XF. Only uncirculated coins or coins that are borderline Uncirculated can maintain a full red.

But, reds are more valuable than browns in high grades.
