So it's a dent that goes through the whole coin? Wow, I wonder how that happened... Maybe there was some sort of fault in the planchet?
If it is a dent that goes through the whole coin, it is most likely post-strike damage. keep up the hunt!
i have checked it and its not struck through as the back of the coin button are opposite of each other the dent on face of coin is above the ear.........
having not seen any Canadian Quarters of late I must say I like that design. the reverse is quite interesting.
