    The deluded fools of Etsy would probably try to sell it for some astronomical amount equal to their lack of numismatic knowledge.

    I've found cents cut down to use in payphones from back when it was a dime to make a call, but I cannot imagine what would compel someone to cut a quarter down to dime size.

    Looks like the extremely rare 47 clipped planchet. Lol etsy!

    If it was with any sort of torch or cutting tool it would be way discolored and bubbled. ...
    If a plasma cutter the entire thing would of been slagged a quarter is too small.
    maybe a really hot electric burning tool or someone screwing around with a laser cutter?
