I had a great time and was able to see many old friends. My first show in three years. I only bought two coins but I was happy. It's the O-111. Not rare but it spoke to me. PCGS gave it AU-53.

I would have bought that one without any hesitation. Very sweet coin.

A true beauty. Nice color. Is that doubling on the profile or just the photo?

Great job, Larry....yes, I really wanted to go this year but family and circumstances just weighted against me.

Gonna clear out all the crap in 2023 and make sure FUN 2024 is a definite go.

It's profile doubling. It's a bit common on these.

That was me last year. Had everything booked and had to cancel.
I'm thinking about going to the Summer FUN. Not as big but I have never been.

Seeing many friends was as important as the show itself. The coins were the icing on the cake, good for you @Idhair thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting these. I was not aware that that is a fairly common occurrence on this series. Read a few posts a day here on coin talk and your bond to learn at least one thing.

Not my coin, but neat double profile. Wish I had bought when I had the chance)

I am trying to wrap my head around that coin.
Whats with the double clash and rotated clash, with liberty at the side of the shield reverse.
Bet that one sold for a pretty penny.

Crazy cool coin. I don't understand it either but wish I owned it.

Actually, as I recall (I first saw it in 2004, then again in 2007) it didn't bring that much of a premium. I was the under bidder the first time, then waited too long the second time.

A discussion from 2004 on the PCGS boards... https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/299626/now-this-is-what-i-call-a-double-profile/p1

Speaking of rotated die clashes I offer up this 1814 O-102.
