Nice. I haven't got a quarter in years. I usually average about 2 dimes and 2 war nickels a year.

 

I've got good news and bad news to report. The good news is that finding silver coins at any time is a good thing. The bad news is that you need to work on your sentence structure. ~ Chris

 

Meow just found one too this week! Its better than a mouse in paw!

 

Meow does not find many war nickels CRH. Funny as the 2nd nickel roll Meow ever hunted had one in it. In two years of CRH Meow thinks Meow has found 2 war nickels, 9 silver quarters, and 10 silver dimes. Oh, but most of the dimes where found in the coin return at the Coinstar. The Coinstar is a great way to get a silver dimes in paw.

In the past 17 years since I started collecting, I have found exactly three silver coins in change:

1939 quarter
1944 quarter
1964-D dime

Disappointing, to say the least.

 

Ive found 2 silver quarters in 8 years. Maybe 70 dimes, and about 10 war nickels

 

I found these a year or so go....



Haven’t found much other then these. But the hunt will continue....

 

WhiteGermanShepLover thinks Meow going on the prowl is a most wise idea. WhiteGermanShepLover prays that Meow leaves at least a little silver behind for the rest of us.

 

It is always nice to find a silver quarter. I've found three so far this year two in a Coinstar machine and one roll hunting.
