I went back to the old home site where I found a nice seated dime about a month ago. Its a big yard so I figured there was some more old coins there. Found the two S.L. Quarters not even 10 feet from each other. These are not that common to find metal detecting so I was pleasantly surprised. That is my second 1917 but my other is a S mint mark, plus its a variety 2. This one is a variety 1. The other the date is worn off. I love these quarters. So much detail. Also found the 3 indians pictured. The 1866 is a good year. Fun time out. Jim
