Found this Barr note in circulation. I know they aren't worth anything this beat up but still cool to find floating around

Very nice. I found one a couple of weeks ago in similar condition. Definitely a keeper.

This type of note was one of the reasons I joined this community. :) We got a few beat-up dollar bills as part of an estate, and I knew enough to know they weren't silver certificates, but I had no idea why someone had kept them. I joined, posted a picture here, and sure enough, I had a couple of Barr notes.

I was lucky and received one as change last year, a star note in fairly decent shape. Maybe someone's collection was spent!

It says Cottonelle in the title of the video and she's holding a roll of it in the still frame, not sure how the cat was ever in the bag...

I read that once bills are too old to be circulated, they are tossed in the shredder. Definitely not wise to toss it back. That's why you never see 1970's $2 bills, and only the 2009 ones.

I find a Where's George bill every 6 or 7 years or so, I wished I would have photographed them more often. I tried to find them online, but nobody has any idea what I'm talking about when I tell them and I can't find them online for sale.
