Found in plain old change from the store

    A 1942-P Nickel. I would say VF. Sorry - no pics.

    Very nice. I've never found a wartime nickel in change. I've found silver dimes, including mercury & even a Barber dime, a silver quarter or two, as well as earlier nickels (including a couple of V nickels), but no wartime stuff. The best one-time change find for me was 6 silver Roosevelt dimes (out of 10 total) from an auto parts store.

    42P Silver nickel?, or the "doesn`t have a big P" nickel?
