Found in Oregon

    We found the attached coin in Oregon outside of Portland. Sorry for the fuzzy photo's (will post clearer pictures with a better camera if needed later). Hand struck coin with dimples on sides. Roughly 2.3cm, 3mm thick. relief is of a bird with it's head facing right. We are not able to identify the writing on the face. The back is very worn and unidentifiable.

    It is a coin of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt. For further attribution, we'll need slightly better pictures, diameter in millimeters, and weight in grams.
