Look what I bought from my friend's daughter who found this in change. She knew that I collected state quarters. Paid $1.00 for it just to keep it as a first of a kind find.
I have 4 sets of those that came in a collection I bought. Platinum ones too. I have all of them from 1999 2000 2001 and 2002. The home shopping network was hawking them a few years ago at stupid prices. Nightowl
Well, look on the bright side -- you got ripped off significantly less than the sucker who purchased it off TV to begin with.
In this collection I bought...were some receipts. There were none for the quarter sets...but the 3 1962 flat pack proof sets....They ripped this guy off for 50 bucks per set. Nightowl
