Quite possibly once used as toilet paper then washed this now mutilated new found mismatch star can rest from circulation. By far the lowest grade of them I've found (my 4th ) or seen. It's hard to believe I've found more of these then super radars (3), but I am not complaining. So now Numbers can record his 35th of them I believe and I'll keep looking for another one in the mean time . No offers from PM's will be accepted nor entertained.....and yes this means you Funkee
That is offensive to my religion. I am willing to pay you 150% of face value, plus a meal of gafuguhuguh!
Yep. Also, this is the lowest serial I've heard of yet, beating out 06710926. (Highest I've seen is 06719949.)
Being the lowest serial reported confirms my suspicions and thus should at the least give it an added premium 10%. I'll respectfully decline Funkee's gafuguhuguh meal. As i know if i can get what i want for it, i can enjoy a nice steak from Morton's steakhouse. That will be a tasty steak for flipping a $1 bill.
Excuse me. May I ask a question? I have been finding some star notes (no special numbers) in various denominations. They are not in particularly great condition. Is there any sense in me holding on to them? Thank you.
I've found 2 more star notes and a non-repeater in change from restaurants in the last two weeks. I feel compelled to look, but I'm not really searching. Still wanting to know if there is any use in saving them (I kinda need the actual money!)
It's very possible the star notes are worth more than face value. However, it depends on the series, block, serial number, and condition. If you post a photo we could advise. It's probably best to start your own thread for that. Also I'm not sure what you mean by a non-repeater. Do you mean a repeater?
Funkee- Thanks! I will post pix when I get the chance. Non-repeater, 8 non repeating digits. (I have one good * repeater 19451945) Back soon.
