Found another one!

I posted one of these amazing whatever they are called last week, and today I was lucky enough to win another.
My plan is to get a different one for all my five kids as a sort of good luck piece.

Silver plated copper?

 

You do know it's not one troy ounce of silver, right?

 

It is just a novelty piece. I do buy silver every month and I do know there is no real silver in them.
I just thought my kids would get a kick out of them.

I have noticed there seems to be a wide fluctuation in closing price for those things on FeeBay. With any luck, you were among the $3.50 + Free Shipping buyers out there, and not one of the $16+ buyers.

I sometimes have to wonder what their max bid was when the bidding goes up that high. I'm thinking they probably bid the spot price for one ounce of silver...

 

The highest I found on eBay that have sold was $16.50.

I would not collect them and have actually given some away to kids before. If you like them and can afford to buy them for your kids enjoyment knowing that they have no value other than that.. Then I say go for it! I hope you succeed in obtaining one of each for your kids!
