Series 2003A Serial # FB 00098106* B2 D3 on the left and D11 on the right is also on the note. Decent enough shape, would say VF. Worth anything or do I blow it on beer and gasoline?
Ok, this is my first attempt at answering a question like this. Unless you can afford to keep 100$, spend it. As far as I know this came from a run of 160 000. So there aren't THAT many, but not worth keeping, unless it was Crisp UNC. I hope I'm right, don't spend it based on what I say.
If I had to guess I'd say it was XF (Based on what VERY little I know about Paper Money). It's been folded and there's slight wear on franklin's face from said folding. Upper left corner aso was folded, so it's not perfect. Working on a Legible pic.. arrgh.
Yes, it's from a run of 160,000. But that's a *small* number, in fact the shortest run of the 2003A $100 series. A full print run of stars would be 3,200,000 notes, so this run is only 5% of a rull run.... I still don't know how much it's going to be worth, though. Not too many folks collect $100's, and even fewer would be trying to collect every single $100 star print run. Most collectors would probably be happy with an FB..* note from a longer run (there were three total runs for that block). So both the supply and the demand for your note are likely quite small, and I'm not sure which one happens to be smaller in this instance....
