Found a packet of old coins 1869-1924

Hi all,

While cleaning out my grandfather's estate I came across this small assortment of coins (and a bill) from Europe and China.

Would be able to help me figure out their value? A quick search on eBay puts a lot of them in the $10-20 range, but some may be worth more depending on quality. Any insight?

Well..... Honest to goodness. It’s unsettling to click on a link offered by a new member. Could you perhaps post photos here of the coins that you are unsure of?

All the French coins are the kind that you can find in a coin dealer's 25 cents each bin and maybe sell on eBay for $1 or $1.50 if you wait long enough. Same for the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. I can't see the Ceylon and Russian coins well enough but unless it's a key date, just a few dollars. I don't know anything about Chinese coins.

 

It's okay Randy. A couple others here are using Imgur for storage and it's legitimate. I checked it myself.
