I was at goodwill today looking for stuff for my new place opened a drawer on an ugly cabinet and found this in a bunch of pencil shavings i would like to know value, mintage, history and where it came from i realy like the crest looking thing on one side of the coin not sure what side oh and its from 1947
Luxembourg is a very small Country (Grand Duchy) near Belgium and The Netherlands in Western Europe. 25 Centimes coin of 1947 is made of Bronze and is pretty common. In that condition books at only a few cents in USD.
i dont collect forien so i may try and trade it iv found that the 1947 beligium version wasent put into circulation for some reason found this in the usa btw
do you have any worn flying eagle sents or any indian head pennys the coin i have has some green marks on it that dont show up in the pictures it realy dosent matter what it is ill pretty much take anything
So......did you just take it (read that "steal")? Or, did you bring it to the attention of the cashier and pay for it.
why would i pay for it thre sulposed to clean out thoes things before they are put on the floor and the lady proly would have given it to me kinda like finding a penny on the ground not stealing
Because it wasn't found on the floor, outside. It was found inside the store and belonged to the store. As you say, had you brought it to their attention, they may have just given it to you. So why not do that?
because the cabnit was between 2 doors when you walk in you have to go threw to doors kinda like a glass box i looked at it on thee way out and my broklyn thats fine i dont have any of thoes and need one for my all type collection
