The Bicentennial Quarter is one of the coolest designs of the "pre-SQ" quarters and it was hoarded by collectors and non-collectors, alike. You can often find them in rolls and in loose change. Both of yours appear to be in pretty good condition and would make nice "album-fillers".
Love the coin and thanks for sharing! I'll echo about the nice album fillers! I didn't get many in rolls from the bank but I was successful in getting them from change at local car washes. Not in this type of condition like your coins though!
My Dad got 5 rolls when they first came out. Handed them out to us kids when we did special chores around the house or his place of business. Read a article recently about them on Sprucecrafts. Has production info & mintage numbers. Always thought it was a stellar design. https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/bicentennial-quarters-4164646
Last year I bought a CWR of quarters from the bank and it was all UNC Bicentennial Quarters.....Most with some very nice blueish toning.
I see them on a regular basis but that left coin of yours is really nice from what I can see in the photo.
For someone who is just started collecting? What quarters with certain years should I be on the look out for? Thanks in advance
