Hmmm.... Could you maybe post some pictures of the whole coin, a close up of liberty above the portrait, and a close up of Washington's face so we can get a better idea of what we're dealing with?

Like what you did with the magnifier. Sometimes double dieing occurs on liberty and the face of Washington where it touches the field.

I'm not an expert, but it looks like a DDO FS-102 variety. There doesn't seem to be any double dieing on the motto, but there appears to be some in liberty. The pictures below are for doubled die and normal mottos. Yours seems to be the latter (normal). If it is a DDO FS-102 variety, it is probably worth $30.

Look at the E and R in liberty... Anybody else see it?

I appreciate your help. I'm gonna take it to a coin shop later and see what they say. Thanks everyone

The problem you may run into is the coin shop may not have any interest in this type of DDO. Looking for micro doubled dies is a specialized collecting area and just because someone has a coin shop doesn't mean they are an expert in everything.

Your best source of info are forums like this. I only know of a couple people who post here that are really good with this stuff, so you may have to be patient until they show up.

I see it. It is machine doubling. Not a doubled die. Good eye though. Keep looking there out there!!
