bookmarked, will have to take multiple trips...but looks very cool. thanks for sharing JA! i LOVE maps!
That is very nice indeed ! Thanks for linking. There were actually several things i did not know of. (In my defence: i'm from the non-Roman collector minority)
Hopefully my internet connection woes will resolve and I'll have the capacity to load this page. I want to see it!
Naturally I looked at the late- and post-Roman maps first But I thought it was a very cool webpage overall and a good resource for those who want to learn more about Rome.
What a wonderful set of maps. I'll have to examine them more closely later. I'll share them with others with full props to you. This is an excellent resource for any student of Ancient Rome. Map 28 "Where Roman coins have been found in Britain" is really interesting. Map 30 "The third century AD was a bad time to be a Roman emperor" is, in fact, excellent. Map 29 "Roman trade with India and China" merits a closer look. Thank you, guy
Great find JA! What a comprehensive site. It should be bookmarked as a resource for anyone studying ancient Rome. Thanks for posting.
