Hello everyone I had a quick question about the March National money show in Fort worth. I am still really new to coin collecting and have never been to a show like this one. My question is if i could only go for the last day Sat the 27th would it be worth it? I have heard that these shows tend to shut down early on the last day and some dealers dont even stay. I would love to go to because it is a very large show and my mother lives in FW so free room and board. So what do you think? I am also very interest in the ANA museum showcase will that still be open the last day? Thank you for the help!
Worth it from what aspect? Are you traveling 10 miles? 1000 miles? Are you looking to buy?, Sell? Trade? Just in general, I am sure most of the dealers will be there at lest some of Saturday and know of no reason the ANA museum showcase would not be open. Look HERE for their schedule.
Its a 4 Hour drive from my house. And i would just be going to learn and maybe buy something (but nothing to big). I may go just to check out the AnA showcase.
I posted there schedule. They still have seminars going Saturday. Even if half the dealers leave, it will probably be larger than any other show you will manage in a while. Heritage auctions are going on through Sunday. Not sure they will be live or internet only, but something will definitely be going on.
Things do slow down on the last days of shows but if your not going to buy much that should give you more time at tables with dealers having time to talk with you more. My beef is the shows are $5 now a days. Seems high like the gun shows now a days.
