I recieved these coins from a friend and would like to know about their value and what they are. All help appricated!
The only thing valuable there might be the Panama coin, with 12grams of silver in it, you probably be looking at let's say 4USD? Otherwise, the rest is just a few cents...
From left to right and top to bottom: Soviet Union, 10 Kopecks - "CCCP" = "USSR" in English, a giveaway to Soviet Union coins. Panama, Half Balboa, 90% silver (.3617 ounce according to the Krauss World Coins Book), high relief coin. Great Britain (UK), Three Pence Mexico, One Peso, copper nickel (earlier iterations of the Peso were a comical 10% silver...) Great Britain (UK), Six Pence, 50% silver (.0455 ounce) Pretty much "starter" coins except, as, noted, the half balboa. The Krauss book from 2004 (we bought a cheapo used copy!) shows Fine at 3.50, VF at 8.00. My daughter would tell you that now you need a Queen Elizabeth II to go with her father, George VI.
