I don't know why Japaneese money has Spanish currency marks. Oh well. If you need bigger pictures, just ask! What's it worth?
Those are occupation currency that Japan issued during WW2 to be used in the Phillipines; that's why they're denominated in pesos and centavos. These tend not to be worth very much unless are in very high condition, as are very common; most stores I see that have them sell them for $2 or less each. Still an interesting piece of history though.
They are still finding boxes of these in caves in he South Pacific. Not worth much, but great historical collectables.
Similar notes were issued in Rupees, Shillings/Pounds, and Dollars/Cents for use in various conquered areas. The 10 Peso is Japanese Numismatic Dealers Association Catalog No. 13-79, and the 50 Centavo is No. 13-82. Both are listed in the 2006 Edition at ¥300 (~$2.65) in crisp uncirculated condition.
