This Ebay seller has a number of them listed for sale: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZnstbtr2 One of the coins looks genuine to me but all of the others appear to be counterfeit. The seller has been reported to Ebay, so hopefully the listings won't be up there for too long.
The 1889-CC looks genuine. The rest are obvious fakes. The seller has ZERO feedback - that's a warning sign. I wonder if that CC reverse goes with that 1889 obverse.
But he wants to make the transection smooth and happy! What a moron. I reported him. 0 feedback, beware.
what is stamped on the wing on some of them? I would think if I had to name the real one, maybe the 1891
Doesn't mention the CC in the titles. What part of China/Texas is he all from? Cripes, I'm not even a Morgan collector but I can SMELL those through my monitor!
Several members here actually have nice counterfeit silver US Dollars, complements of Bonedigger. I ended up getting 14 fake Chinese Morgan Dollars a few years ago and I've held several contests with the prize being one of these counterfeit coins. Here are a couple of pics of old prizes. Take Care Ben
Ben: I am sorry that I missed the lots before they were pulled. And,those Chinese fakes are very nice! Gotta start checking the seller's location so that I can grab a few.
This is not a Morgan but i thought youd like to see this fake. lol I still dont know what the counterfitters where thinking. Also it only weigh's 19.6 grams. LOL
Man, I missed them. But, probably for the best, glad they got pulled. :thumb: Good work team. :thumb: Oldman, I've seen some of them, they are neat. Have no idea though either what they were thinking, rotfl. Phoenix
