He's gonna try and say it was harshly cleaned just so he can low-ball you on it. I know for a fact he's missing that one in his registry set.

Is that all ya' got USMoneylover! I have a wood from the Pioneer Wooden Money Society (November 6, 1988 Christmas Party) 75.0 mm and 6.0 mm thick. The standard small size wood is about 38 mm. I scanned it, but the file is too large to upload. I'll try to get a pic on later.
    Who says size doesn't matter?

I scanned my wooden nickel at 100 dpi and got the file size smaller.

Wow the color on that one is great! At 75mmx6mm that thing is pretty darn big, the thickness of mine is only 3mm. Yours appears to be made from oak, am i correct? I believe mine is made from poplar, if i had to guess.

BrandM's looks to be an improper alloy error of sweetgum and dogwood, whereas USmoneylover's looks like the proper mix of California Redwood and Lowe's plywood. :D

Those guys with their "woody" Lincolns don't have anything on our "woody" nickels!

I've been away for a few days, so I've been off the "air" since Friday. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it seems to be a some sort of veneer, maybe a thin hobbyist's plywood.
lincolncent .... If mine is made from an improper mixture of woods then it's an error and worth at least 6 cents. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't let this baby go for less than 8 cents. A fellow c/t 'er though might grab it for 7, but I'd have to think about it. So what do you bid??

10gary22 .... Yeah, It's a woodie, but that's all I have to say about it. We're getting close to the edge of decency here.
