    The reverse photo is upside down. It is an "anonymous bronze" of Class A2, attributed to Basil II and Constantine VIII (976-1028), Sear Byzantine 1813.

    The most interesting fact on anonymous bronzes to me was that they were depictions of Christ from famous churches all over the empire. Most of these portraits are lost to antiquity so the series is effectively our only way to study these famous artworks.
