I personally love numbers and doing on the fly stats in my head. I realize that LUCK is a big part of roll searching, but I thought I'd post my "potential finds" from a box of pennies since I haven't seen anything like this.

I'm simply going to copy another post of the stuff I'm looking for and put how many potentials I've found. I use a cup method so for every variety I list I have a cup for and the number before is how many I've found. Once I've went through them all I'll post any finds from the box. I found the cup method neat since you can see how rare it is to find a certain coin, and on top of that there must be a double die or something else to make it special. If there's any other math nerds out there feel free to post your results here.

out of 2,500 cents this is what I sorted for closer inspection with hopes of finding something: (everything else tossed back in the recycle bucket):

    2- 60- Small date

12- 68D- dd reverse in America, or D over D mintmark

1- 69 S- DD in LIB, IGWT, Date

    1- 70 S- DD in Trust, LIB

1- 71- DD in LIB, IGWT

6- 72- DD in date (I find it hard to see the DD even in pics with arrows... maybe I'll get lucky)

    13- 80 D- S Shadow over D mintmark

35- 82- DD in IGWT or DD in E Pluribus Unum (seems line the REV DD is newer, but I struggle with DD's.)

27- 83- DD REV and IGWT

    36- 84- Double Ear

13- 84D- Slight DD on date

    21- 92 D- Close AM FOUND 0

32- 94- DD REV in last 3 columns

    48- 95- DD in LIB

38- 95 D- DD in IGWT, and Date

    21- 97- DD ear

    124- 98, 99, 00- WAM FOUND 0

76- 06- DD Beard and Earlobe, or DD in LIB IGWT and Date

28- 09- DD REV in hands of Lincoln holding the book. and DD in the dots in the cabin

found 7 wheats and 9 I Kept due to great shape

and 27 others not in the searched dates due to something catching my attention with naked eye for further inspection (more than likely nothing...)

I'll edit this with results after searched in red, but thought this would be pretty neat to do the math and see how many of the potentials were gained from a brinks box at my local hometown bank that has about 10 banks locally.
