    Ben,
    Today I picked up my first capped bust half dollar for my type set, it is a 1833 lettered edge the grade is ex-fine 45. I have seen the pictures of yours and I know how much you like them but after getting this one and having it in hand it is easy to see why you like them so much. This is my first however it will not be my last they are great looking coins.

    LOL, it can be addicting, post a picture if you can. I'll bet she's a beauty. They're a good bit wider than regular Half Dollars too.

    Congratulations on the purchase! I have an 1812 myself in about F condition. I know the feeling!

    Keep going, I have gotten back into the Bust half area lately, two weeks ago I picked up:
    1833 XF-45 O-108, ANACS slabbed. R-1
    1833 VF-30, O-109, NGC slab R-3.

    I am going to have to get one of those reference books that Ben told me about so I know just what I have.
