I saw the Foo Fighters tonight. I bought this coin at the merchandise booth. On the obverse there is the logo for their newest album Concrete and Gold. The reverse features the BOK Center, the arena where the show was held. The reverse also has the text "Tulsa, OK 1-15-17" at the top and "BOK Center" at the bottom. It is made of brass with gold plating and has a proof like appearance. It is a heavy coin. It's a nice keepsake from the show.
It just goes to show how long I have been out of touch with the music scene. When I saw your title, "Foo Fighters coin", I thought to myself, "I've never seen a coin about wrestlers." Nice medal! Chris
Good stuff, that's a nice keepsake! I just saw a live show (not in person, on TV) that they filmed in the UK, with a special guest appearance by none other than music legend Jimmy Page. I hope they played a solid rendition of Everlong, that was always my favorite FF song.
Love me some FF! The first time I skidived I had it filmed and I had "Learn to Fly" as the background music!
Man this takes me back to the 90's when I used to listen to their cassettes and CD's. It's cool that they are making merch like this
