The mail just came and I had a small package with a few coins I had ordered. The holes are driving me crazy and I wanted to fill them and move on to other things (coins). Just a generic Presidential folder do all modern. The last 4 are repeats just to plug the holes.
Too bad the presidential series didn’t get much love during its run. It makes a super nice looking set.
I know what you mean. I just posted by second Presidential folder. The first one I completed was for all of them P and D’s. The one I just posted is a shorter set but the holes are all filled.
I agree. I was tempted once or twice but it was a series that I wouldn't be happy unless I had them all and that wasn't in the cards. Congrats to CN for completing it.
Most are only a couple of dollars but there are 2 or 3 of them that are over $10.00, which was surprising to me.
Maybe I'll reconsider in a year or two when I'm retired. I think I got 3 in circulation, it could be fun to track down the rest. (Like I need another series to tackle )
Yes congrats to you. As I mentioned above to another, you all have been into your hobbies for a long time. Although I pout at times lol I do appreciate everyone’s help and critiques. This is not being negative but I will not ever get to the levels you all are but y’all know I like my “Abe’s”. Blame that on my dad! Again congrats to you!!!
Oh, you'll get there. My mom and dad saved silver coins and wheat pennies in a cigar box in the early 60's. When I showed an interest, my mom showed me how to polish them with toothpaste. I've learned a thing or two since then but I still have some toothpaste shined Mercury dimes. Pick a series you like -- Abe's are a good one.
I know that feeling. That’s why I’m trying to complete some of my folders and albums. I want to move onto other coins.
We are learn. Some learn the easy way and other learn the hard way. At one time, in my younger years, I was both but I leaned towards the hard way. Now, I like to take the east way. Lol
Yes one time I looked at a coin. I said what is this? I looked again, yes looked like an eraser Marking. Someone trying to make an image. Thank goodness I did not post! Y’all would have giving me a hard time lol!
