Does anyone have more info on the Flying Eagle Cents? Any good books? I've read the info in the Red Book, but I would like to know more. Thanks for any help, James

I think Snow has a book that talks about the FE cents....also there is a coin club call the FLY/IN (I think) that is for FE's and IHC's.

There is a new RedBook of Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents scheduled to be released this spring. It should be terrific.

My favorite Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cent Book is "A Buyer's and Enthusiast's Guide to Flying Eagle and Indian Cents" by Q. David Bowers. It's not a new book - but the neither are the cents. You can find it sometimes on ebay or Amazon or biblio or your favorite used book site.

Longacre's Ledger is the journal of the FlyIn Club. You can find information about the club at Rick Snow's Eagle Eye Rare Coin site. You can also find info on the series of attirbution guides done by Rick for FE & IHC.

    Good luck and have fun.

Rick Snow probably knows as much about Flying Eagle and Indian cents as anybody. His book is really packed with information. Highly recommend. Get on his mailing list and you will receive updates on just about anything new in that series, too. He really goes into die varieties, many are described with Snow numbers.
