Let me say first,I do NOT collect modern world coins, with the exception of a Euro set AND,my Canadian Floral series.I first saw the golden daffodil coin on of all places,Home Shopping Network.I ordered it directly from the RCM for exactly half of what HSN was asking and then found out it had been preceded by a golden tulip issue which had been limited to 25,000 and was a sell out. After much searching and even more cash,I located one in a little coin shop in Manitoba. These were followed by the golden easter lily and golden rose last year.Hopefully, there will be another one this year.Does anyone know? So far, nothing on the website but they usually come out in the early Spring.:)

Mike, those look beautiful. Maybe one or two of them for the wife would get me out of the doghouse, LOL :)

Be careful about what ya wish for Bone. I've seen things like that end up cutting a guys collecting budget in half

Yes, that is indeed a hazard one must avoid. However, one of these would do more for my situation than say a Horatio Nelson £5 coin :D

Ah but the Nelson is such a lovely coin :smile all you have to do is explain the historical importance of the guy to her just as she is having trouble sleeping and you will be forgiven all your sins LOL

Oh, she knows the historical significance, she's just upset at my recent purchase habits :) I got a holster ($$$) yesterday for the pistol I recently acquired. Bad Idea doing that so SOON after the prior purchase :(

Well my point is that if you introduce your wife to coins that she likes - she just might end up collecting more than you do

Explain how dangerouse it would be to carry the gun in your waistband you after all do not wish to loose a certain part of your anatomy now do you? I am sure she will agree :D
