Ok, I guess an explanation is in order for the term Floor Money. I work as an Usher Supervisor at a movie theatre. Our job entails we walk around constantly scanning the floors in the hallways, lobby and theatres for debris. As a result, we find change. I pick up everything I find and chuck it into a plastic cup when I get home. I then go through it before dumping the cup into my collection jar. I noticed some recent posts from folks who search rolls, and I thought, Hey, why I don't I try this with my Floor Money. So here are the results of this week... Nice finds, I, for one, am one of those who always picks up conis n the ground. Good luck, I hope that you find more. You do better than some people who use a metal detector. Thought: Just for fun, you should keep a log of your finds.
one time i was in a cloths store and i saw what looked to be a cent on the ground. well, i bent over, picked it up, and it was a 1995 peso from mexico. another time i saw a cent on the ground, picked it up and it was a 1949 wheatie. i always pick coins off the ground.
badger1602, Great finds! Don't you wish that you could get a contract to clean all of the Parking Lots and Drive Thru lanes for all of the Fast Food Restaurants in your area???!!! I went through a McDonalds recently and the guy at the window dropped one of the quarters he was giving me in my change. I looked out my window to see where the quarter went and noticed that there must have been $25 worth of change in the crack between the building and the Drive Thru lane. If there had not been any cars behind me, I would have retrieved the quarter and anything else my fat fingers could pry from the crack. Well, it was busy and the guy gave me another quarter out of cash register and I went on my way dreaming of cleaning out that crack.
every time i go to a drive-thru window i always go out and pick up the change. this 1 guy dropped all of my mom's change once so i opened the door and got all the change. there was probaly $5 worth of change on the ground there. i would like to take a day to just walk around town, and walk by all the drive thru windows and pick up the change. with this town i live in, i would probaly make a $100 easy.
