Do ALL US coins have a flipped obverse and reverse? Specifically want to know about the Barber quarter? Thank you.

Yes, all U.S coins have what is known as a "coin turn" with the reverse flipped from the obverse. Coin turns may have been used initially to help show the difference between a medal and a coin, and they still exist today because of tradition...

All coins minted at one of the U.S. Mints made for the US have a coin orientation, meaning that the reverse is "flipped" from the obverse. That includes Barber Quarters.

Conversely, most foreign coinage exhibits what we call (in the US) 'medal turn'.......that is, as you rotate the coin on the horizontal axis both sides of the coin devices remain in an upright position.
