    Hey everyone...

A bit excited, thought I'd share...

It's flea market weekend here, found myself a lovely little variety (along with a 1958 proof set with a cameo half and cent.) It's a 1917 S Buffalo Nickel "Two Feathers, No F" FS-401 variety that is missing the third small feather and the designer's initial under the date. PCGS has graded 7 and NGC 0. A similar quality piece (a PCGS VF25) sold by Heritage in July reached just over $305 with BP, although the CPG lists a $155 approx. value for VF-20. Any thoughts or opinions on grade are appreciated!

    Thanks!

The 1917S is a good one to find in any grade. PCGS grade G7 looks right to me.
