Has anyone done business with this seller (FiveStarGarageSale) on Ebay? They have a Best Offer item that I've made two offers on, and both offers expired without a word. I've contacted them twice and no response. Just wondering if this is their way of doing business.
Just a guess here, but after having the same experience twice, it's probably safe to assume, right or wrong, they didn't feel the offer worth responding to. Short of ridiculous and insulting offers, I personally feel opening a line of communication to be wise; even if it leads to nothing now, it could down the road, but clearly not everyone feels this way. Unless the coin is something not available elsewhere and this a rare opportunity, perhaps it is time to take your efforts and business elsewhere.
Just my opinion, but I agree with BooksB4Coins: move on. I've had a few sellers (eBay and direct on their websites) that haven't responded to my inquiries. I figure if I'm not worth the time for them to respond, they're not worth my business.
Maybe the seller doesn't like responding to low-ball offers. How are we to know without the specifics of the offer? Chris
