OK i am still very new and I have read a bit about first strikes but still am very unclear as to the prices of these presidential first strike's the George Washington are up to 3500-4500 for the ms67 pcgs , so my question will these prices stay high or will they drop after the rush is over and is this a good investment ? THANK YOU

Are you sure you are not confusing First day of Issue with First Strike? I don't see any First Strike listed for Washington dollars.

In any event the first day of issue came out of the Washington first day covers I believe so it is an amount out of a possible 50,000 released not the over 300 million of the regular coins.

The vast majority of coins are terrible investments, first strike even moreso...Mike

First strike is a scam. In my opinion. :)

I object to the "First Strike" designation on principle. AdamL is right. It is a scam. I could have had my First Spouse coins graded as First Strike and probably made more money, but I refuse to contribute to perpetuating the deception.

I object to both first strike and first day of issue. Who can tell if a coin has been issued or mailed out on the first day? Anyone could say that about any coin. There is no way to measure it.
