So I recently got a fairly decent set of extension tubes to turn my Nikon 18-55 kit lense into a macro. these are some of the shots I got real quick to get a feel for the set up.

There were some slight focusing issues that I will work on. I set the tubes up pretty quick and at first they didn't work on my Nikon. It's almost as if it wasn't aware of the new set up, but then it started working better, so given enough time I should be able to fix the focus issue. BTW the "FG" is not on an '88. I just wanted to get the smallest detail to see how the tubes work. These pictures I actually made a little smaller too so they would be easier to look at.
These tubes will make photographing whole coins way better.

I just wanted to share this because I was pretty excited! :D

Wave over the pics first, then click to maximum size.
