    Very handsome coin. Looks great with that Deep Cameo contrast.

    I had to look up the Battle of Chesme, which I'd never heard of before.

    I have to admit....I am a history buff/ I had never heard of that naval battle either! I only remember the Russian Navy got wiped out in 1905 by the Japanese Imperial Fleet.
    About the coin/ 70 I guess is a PERFECT coin. I only have one coin that was struck before 1700 that graded MS-68.

    Yes, MS70 (or in this case PR70, for a proof) is the very top of the American Sheldon scale of grading used by TPGs (third-party grading companies) in the USA. And as such, it represents a "perfect" score. 70-grades are practically never seen except on modern issues of the last 30-40 years or so.
