So it’s my Monday and it’s usually one of the better search days for me for coin and singles. right off the gate I found my very first web note of any kind and in a register to boot! honestly I don’t know anything about them really and all I could tell you is it’s toasty as one could be. But no tears. I assume it’s a pretty cool find and keeper.
I think a 1988 note found in circulation is rare, and then for it to be a web note to boot. RFC? Did you buy a lottery ticket?
I have been finding many older notes in my change orders as of lately. Lots of 77, 63, 88 and 95’s. But never this lucky. I’m pretty stoked. I like that it’s a high serial number as well. I think that’s cool. haha. I usually have darn good luck on scratches. I’ll have to grab a few on the way home tonight after work

It's been 19 years since i retired from the NYS Bridge Authority. The only time I come across a WEB is if someone shows me one and asks how much is it worth. Just keep looking and you may find a web or some other type of paper. They are out there.
