Congrats! That is an amazing find! My earliest find so far has been a 1917 P Lincoln and a 1902 Indian Head.

Thanks. Your finds are awesome. Just to find a cent like these without purchasing it is what makes coin roll hunting worth the thrill. I only hope to find an indian head in a roll.

Sweet!. I would love to see it. So far since August I've found 14 1910's but none of them were "S". Congrats.

My last box came from a bank in Mesa and they were rerolls. All the copper was taken out of them, there was not a thing in all 50 rolls to be had.
wasted a weekend of my life .

That sucks cochisz. Are you able to get BWR? I've had very little luck with CWR except when I got some old lady's weekly deposit. 2 solid rolls of wheats, mostly 30s and 20s with some teens and 40/50's to round it out. I haven't gotten that lucky since.

John, good one on the 10-S. FWIW, my little brat (affectionately-speaking, of course) and I searched boxes of cents for many, many years, and our median frequency for wheats was 1 in 6 rolls. I have a business and many times have just picked up $10 worth, and, sure enough, we could count on 3 wheats out of those 20 rolls. From our experience, you get better than 1 wheat in 6 rolls out of that box, you got a good one. Enjoy. And be ready to be hopelessly addicted.

My best results for pennies are hitting up the local 24 hour newstands. I show up with a scale and pay them at a 2.5 gram rate. Im averaging a 1/3 in copper and a roll of wheats per $40.

Sorry I have been enjoying the sunshine here in Casa Grande. That is my thing now frog, only trying to get BWR,s now but the way banks are now you can,t be fussy especially when here there has to be two people go into the vault to get coins.

Agreed. Most of the banks I go to I don't have accounts with. I work in the DC metro and go to the all the different branches around where I work at lunch. If they are willing to give me anything I will take it with a big smile and a big thank you, even if I can see that they are all bright shiny new coins. I figure that one of these days that'll pay off :)
On a side note, enjoy the sun. I could use some here.
