E: Meant to say Last purchase of 2020, first arrival of 2021 in title! Having a Monday Moment :)

Won this one from the last CNG auction, but it didn't arrive until the weekend due to being held until the insane USPS situation clears up.

    My previous Domitia...

    AE14 of Philadelphia, Lydia
    ΔOMITIA AYΓOYCTA, draped bust right
EΠI ΛAΓE ΦIΛAΔEΛΦEωN, bunch of grapes on stem

    And the newcomer
Domitian Domitia AR cistophorus Rome mint for Asia.jpg
    AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm
    Ephesus or Rome mint?
IMP CAES DOMITIAN AVG P M COS VIII, laureate head right
    DOMITIA AVGVSTA, Draped bust right

Coins of Domitia are all-around scarce, although puny AE coins from the provinces make a highly affordable alternative, although I have long felt it to be "out of place" next to the rest of the Flavians in my binder. This one was a fair price IMO, and was much more affordable than the imperial denarii of Domitia.

Still, it leads to a somewhat comical effect stacked next to the denarius of her husband:

I have a Domitia, and it is a small one.

I would keep both. The cistophorus is technically a 'Domitian' with Domitia on the reverse and the provincial is a nice example of the type.
