    Hello everyone,
2022 has started and some of us maybe already received their first new additions the new year. The last year has been an often hard struggle for collectors with rising prizes and many outbids and while it is nice to see that ancient coins get some more value from the collectors community it is still nice to win a coin for a good price.
In my case some nice coins arrived during the last two days. First my first Denarius from the reign of Emperor Domitian. It got the classic but common Minerva reverse and is not in spectacular condition but I really finally wanted one of those so I won this an late christmas/new years present for myself. The obverse legend seems the be a variant (GERM instead of GERMAN), no idea if this is uncommon but maybe a Domitian specialist can help me out.

Second is finally a new emperor for my collection: Hostilian
The city of Viminacium minted some high quality bronze coins early in the crisis of the third century and due to the good accessibilty on the market of this coinage you can get some of the more uncommon emperors for a good price. Now my next goal is a coin from the reign of Aemilian from this mint.
Hostilian Caesar - Provincial bronze - PMS COL VIM AN XII - Viminacium mint

And the last on is just a nice antoninianus featuring Empress Salonina from the Cyzikus mint with a nice sharp strike and a good design even while the portrait looks a bit crude.

Feel free to post your first additions of this year or other relevant coinage! :)

CERERI AVG!?! Did someone really get away with calling the empress a pack of 3-headed dogs on official coins?

Or is my Latin a little rusty?

Nice beginning to the year @wittwolf - I've got 2 bids in presently, one in an Ebid auction and another with John Anthony of CoinTalk.
