Hey everyone. I'm adding to my new collection everyday it seems, and here are today's finds: A roll of silver quarters (Been working on this one for a while most 60-64, a few earlier dates) $80 1974 Eisenhower Dollar- $1.00 (The size intrigues me ) 2005 d Nickel (Extremely shiny, 1 little nick on it. I'm gonna put it in a 2X2 for about 30 years) $.05 1968 Kennedy Half (40 % silver I think) .50 That's it for today. I believe some of the quarters have been cleaned but I still paid .50 under melt for each, so I figured what the heck. Plus you never know what tommorow might bring. BD
Fresh. The half is %40 silver. Silver has been dropping for the last few days, but many think it will rebound well over $20/oz. Think it's at about $14-$15 right now. www.Kitco.com is a site you can watch silver values and learn. Got my Eisenhower for a dollar as well. Standing around in front of a coin shop where they guy is always 20-60 mins late works good. How'd you get yours?
I got the dollar from a teenager who didn't think the coin machine would take it. I gladly gave him a dollar for it, and saved him the 8%. He ran 30 half dollars through it and I would have gladly gave him face for them, but I will not solicit for the machine (It's bad for business and I just look in it afterwards). I've gotten 4 in the last month (Dollars). I wait on Franklins in the half bag, but after my initial 4, none have come up. BD
