I am trying to locate for purchase the US Mint P&D Delaware Quarter Roll. I want the ones that came in the orange and black wrappers. Does anyone have the name of a company where I can order these rolls? Thanks, Jim
Or you can try e-bay if you want. They shouldn't be to hard to get. Your local coin dealer should have these also.
1999 P&D Delaware Quarter Rolls I live in Lexington, Ky., and we have one coin dealer in our town. If anyone has a dealer's name they have dealt with in the past that has Delaware rolls, please send me their email address or mailing address. I have also looked on eBay and internet and no one seems to have the original mint wrapped rolls in the orange & black wrappers. Thanks, Jim jparks@uky.edu
Rugen, How many do you want? What price do you want to pay? email me direct. I am currently at the Baltimore coin and currency convention and can get you as many as you wish. Bid is currently $20 for rolls, so retail will be $27 or $28 plus shipping.
Delaware Quarter Rolls I want one roll each of the Delaware P & D. Please make sure they are the US Mint issued rolls in orange and black paper wrappers. Thank You, Jim
Don't Exist!! Jim, They don't exist. The mint did not start making the distinctive black and orange wrap until the New Hempshire State quarter. I am supprise about the advise you have been getting. The mint did wrap them in the orange/white wrappers, but you can't tell the difference from the bank rolled quarters. Victor
Hmmmm - all the rolls issued directly by the US Mint - say US Mint right on the paper wrapper. The bank rolls do not.
I have been in the market for rolls of 1999 state quarters, the best that I have seen are the mint rolls - except that they are wraped in the o/w wrappers - totally in distingushable from bank rolled quarters. Remember, the Federal Reserve buys millions of dollars of bagged coins and wraps them in the o/w wrapers to distribute to the banks. Not a bad thing, you are still going to get mint quality coins, except for the fact that the 1999 state quarters and 2000 state quarters prior to NH came in the o/w wrapper
Sir, I have to disagree. The Mint has always marked their quarters with the Mint seal on their wrapper. All mint products come with their principality packaging.
