The Friday night/Saturday morning graveyard shift was special. I found the following pennies: 1907, 1944-Dx2, 1969-S, and 1973-S. I also found a 1993 Canadian penny and 1952, 1957, 1958-D, and 1960-D nickels. The 1907 is the third Indian head that I've found so far this year. The '44-Ds were both in the same customer wrapped roll. The funny thing is that when I was about to go through the roll with the IHC in it, I joked to myself that I was going to find an Indian head in it and sure enough there was one. I wonder if it was in circulation for the whole time, if it sat in the bottom of a milk jug full of less interesting coins and was dumped into a Coinstar machine, if it was once a part of somebody's treasured collection which was broken up and spent at face value. Noting its condition, it might well have been in circulation the whole time. If I've found 3 in the last 7 months, then there must be thousands still out their waiting to be discovered. Don't give up, just keep searching those rolls.
